About Us
Diplomat Hire Cars have been operating as a 5-star chauffeur service in Melbourne for over 30 years. The business was originally started by Jan & Peter Steklenburg and was bought in 2016 by Vikramjit Sandhu and Jag Dhillon and in January 2022 Vikramjit bacame the sole owner of the business.
The business has continued to grow, including adding People Movers and Minibuses to our fleet of luxury cars and adding the ability to book quality chauffeur services nationwide.

Vikram Sandhu
After 15 years of experience in Hospitality, Security, and the Transport industries I have developed a passion for customer service. I love meeting new people and making new acquaintances. I make it my goal to provide a sense of security, trust, and reliability to my customers. I do my job with great passion and stay calm on the roads to make sure my passengers know they are in safe hands.
I love my job so when you are with me as a customer, all my attention is on you and your family. At those moments nothing else matters!
